What do Xerox, Scotch Tape, Coke and Dungeons & Dragons have in common?  For many people they are more then a brand name, they describe a whole swath in their market.  Who hasn’t made a Xerox copy at some other brands copy machine, or asked for Scotch Tape instead of Cellophane Tape?  Do you call all colas Coke?  For many, Dungeons and Dragons is THE role playing experience, especially if they aren’t part of our little hobby.  Try to explain you play role playing games and you might get a blank look… say you play DnD and people tend to know what you are referring to.  Therefore, the DnD Experience.
